Getting Ready to Rank
In June, Charlottesville voters will use ranked choice voting to nominate candidates for City Council. Join the League of Women Voters for an informational presentation and discussion on ranked choice voting so you can be ready to rank your vote in June. We'll talk about how ranked choice voting works, why it's used, and how it finds roots in Charlottesville's long-running history of democracy reform.
The meeting will be held in the Swanson Room on the library's third floor. Library staff can validate your parking ticket for up to three hours in either the Water St. or Market St. parking garages. Registration is optional but helpful to us in planning for adequate seating. If you'd like to let us know that you plan on coming, we can send you an email reminder before the event.
